There is deliberately NO default commercial/extended multiplier: real marketplaces (see Sources) let each seller set their own tier prices with no fixed platform ratio, so guessing one here would be worse than useless.

How this is calculated

Each tier's price = Personal price × that tier's multiplier (Personal multiplier is fixed at 1). Each tier's contribution = tierPrice×(1−refund rate) − (fee% × tierPrice + fee fixed) − CAC − variable cost -- fees/CAC/variable cost are the same per order regardless of which tier was purchased. Blended contribution/order = the weighted average of the three tiers' contributions, weighted by your entered sales-mix percentages. Break-even Personal price is solved directly for the Personal price at which blended contribution equals exactly zero, holding your multipliers, mix, fees, and costs fixed. Required orders/month and required visitors/month follow the same classic cost-volume-profit math as our other calculators, applied to the blended contribution instead of a single price.

Sources

• Creative Market: Standard and Extended license prices are set individually by each shop owner -- there is no fixed platform-wide ratio between them, confirmed via Creative Market's own license FAQ/support pages. This is exactly why this calculator does not default a commercial/extended multiplier.
• Etsy: commercial-use license add-ons for digital templates are commonly seller-priced in the roughly $15-$20 range per item (sometimes bundled across multiple templates at a discount) -- observed from real live Etsy listings, not a platform rule.

Scope and limitations

Single-asset, three-tier model: no bundle pricing, no quantity discounts, no per-tier fee differences (real platforms generally charge the same fee% regardless of which license tier a buyer purchases). Not legal advice -- it does not define "commercial use," draft license text, or tell you what rights each tier should grant. When your sales mix doesn't total 100%, or your combined fee rate and refund rate already consume 100% or more of every sale, this page shows UNKNOWN rather than a misleading number.
